Mug-Muguga Sacco is established under the umbrella of Mug-Muguga Enterprises Ltd which was done under the chairmanship of Col, Rtd J.K Muiruri who was the chairman Mug-Muguga Group of companies. Mug-Muguga Sacco was registered in the year 2010 with the primary objective of mobilizing funds and advancing loans to Mug - Muguga members / Groups at a reasonable rate and thereby empowering its member’s economically.
The Sacco draws its individual or group membership from Mug-Muguga Enterprises Ltd which is an investment company whose membership is based on the 34 family members of the parent company.
The Mug Sacco is managed by a committee elected during AGM
We started issuing loans in the month of August 2011 and the maximum loan by then was kshs 10,000 and has increased to above kshs 100,000 currently.
